I need your advice:)

Dear Astar,
Hi, how are you? I hope everything is fine. I am sorry I haven't answered your last letter in a long time, I was busy with moving an apartment, but that’s it- it has finally happened after a long time.
I want to tell you about something that happened to me during this time you weren't here (as usual... things happen to me mainly when you aren't here), and I need your advice.

Last week, I was accepted to work at my uncles' friend's business.
This kind of work doesn't demand a lot of me. My main work there is arranging all the work orders from other companies. You are probably asking yourself where lies the problem.
So… it demands many work hours a week that I don't have.

Here I need your advice. I don't know what to do because I don't wanna lose this job, but the thing I'm afraid of is that it may hurt and disturb my studying at school. I hope you can help me with my indecision.

The eclipse of the sun:

A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the sun and the earth so that the sun is absolutely or partially obscured. It happens when the earth, the moon and the sun are located at the same axis.

There are two types of solar eclipses.
First, we have the full solar eclipse, which happens when the moon is not near the axis of sun-earth, therefore the moon can't block totally the sunlight.
The second solar eclipse is an annular eclipse.

That type of eclipse different from the others by appearance of shining annulus around him, instead of full hide of the sun by the moon.

Moreover, the solar eclipse confuses the animals' sense of time. Animals who act in the day behave as if the night is down, and compared to them, animals that act in the night became active.

Finally, the solar eclipse is a short and impressive event, where complete darkness prevails and the stars glow fullness.



Lunar eclipse:

A lunar eclipse occurs whenever the moon passes through some portion of the earth's shadow. It can happen only when the sun, earth, and moon are aligned exactly, or very closely where the earth between the sun and the moon.

There are three types of lunar eclipses.
First, we have the full lunar eclipse, in which all the moon is shadowed.
Secondly, we have the local lunar eclipse, in which only part of the moon is totally shadowed and the other part is partially shadowed. The last type of lunar eclipse is the lunar eclipse partial shadowed, in which part of the moon is shadowed and the other part is lighted. The type and length of an eclipse depends upon the moon's location proportionately to its orbital nodes.

Eventually, the three types of lunar eclipses we have happen when the earth is located exactly between the sun and the moon, casts shadow over the moon and shadowed him.

My vacation:)

The place I visited and I would like to describe is Eilat. Eilat is one of the tourism cities which is located at the South of Israel, it is Israel's southernmost city which is surrounded by mountains.

I was there during my summer vacation for 7 days. I traveled with my family and we stayed in a hotel. There are many attractions for all ages. On the vacation we enjoyed a lot of different and varied activities. We played at the pool and there were comedians that came up with fun contests. We were also in the red sea and in the walkway- we bought many things and enjoyed them.

The most enjoyable attraction there was the dolphin reef. I like dolphins very much and it was a special experience to be with them.
Another attraction that we made there was "The kings city". It is located in Eilat's walkway and contains many attractions like jeeps trips, kayaks, Paintball, zoo and free fall.

In conclusion, I must say that I enjoyed very much spending time with my family, detached from all the others for a few days. It was an amazing time with my family.

My best friend:)

The person I would like to describe is my best friend named Rinat.She was born on 24th of February 1993 and lives in Holon. I met her only a year ago but she knows me better than anybody does. Moreover, it seems like we know more than a year.
She has some interests like the youth movement named "Hatzav", there she spends her time and she likes it very much. I don't think I know somebody as good as I know her.

She knows all about me and can said what I am feeling any time- when everybody thinks that I am fine, she is the only one who can see the real under my smile. She is there for me in every moment that I need her and I can trust her blindly- I know that no matter what she would always be there for me.
Together we do a lot of thing and have common experience and jokes that only we can understand and laugh of them.

In addition, she is a caring person- when I need her and she has problems, she would put them aside and find time for me. Even if I don't tell her anything about my problems- she sees that on me and doesn't leave me- she helps me to solve them. A day can't pass without talking. It became a routine. I need to talk with her every day to know how she feels, and how her day passes.

Finally, I thank god that I met her cause she is a really my best friend that helps me with everything. I am glad that I succeed to help her too- because I am really ought her. I hope that we would stay good friends for years - since people like her are very hard to find.

About myself:)

My name is Avital and I am 15 years old.
I was born in Israel and live here all my life.

During the day, I like to do many things and I have some hobbies like watching T.V, meeting my friends and mostly talk on the phone with my friends.
I enjoy swimming, it's causes me to calm down and forget all my problems and worries. Another thing that makes me relax is listening to music or going for a walk.

In addition to it, I enjoy meeting with my friends. When we meet we have a wonderful time together. Usually we meet at someone's home and talking, or going outside and sitting in some park.

I like to take pictures so during my holidays I photograph a lot.
Also, I like to travel. Although I don't enjoy as I expected, I don't make a fuss about it.

My school is a big one, it contains four buildings and I study in the building of the tenth grade. We have a very busy schedule, especially this year because we will have final tests in the end of the year.

The subject I prefer is sport. I like to exercise, run and play ball games so I enjoy this lesson.

Finally, from this coming year, I expect to succeed and I hope that it won't be so hard like everybody says. I hope to finish this school year with good grades.
I hope that me, like to spend time with my friends will not disturb my succeeding in school, and I will learn how to make the parting between those things.
